Refund policy
At Truthpaste, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality, natural oral care products. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.
Returns

Eligibility: You have 14 calendar days from the date of purchase to initiate a return. Items must be unopened, sealed, and in a sellable condition to qualify for a return or exchange. For health and hygiene reasons, some items are non-returnable (see below for details).

Process: To start a return, email us at contact@truthpaste.co.uk with your order number and reason for return. We will send you return instructions and authorization.

Once your return is approved, we’ll send you a link to complete payment for the return label. After payment, you’ll receive your label and booking link to arrange collection.

Shipping: Returns are subject to a £3.99 Shipping & Handling fee.
Please note:

Products that show signs of tampering, use, or damage cannot be refunded or exchanged for hygiene and safety reasons.

Returned items that appear used, opened, or altered in any way will be disposed of and no refund will be issued.

Wonky or discounted items fall outside the scope of our returns policy and are sold as final sale.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to safety and hygiene reasons, these items are non-returnable:
- Wonkies
- 15ml Tins
- Toothbrushes
- Floss
- Interdental Brushes
- Gift Cards and Sale Items: These are non-refundable and cannot be returned.
Damaged or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged or with items missing, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at contact@truthpaste.co.uk
To help us investigate and resolve the issue, please include:

Clear photos of the items you have received inside the packaging it arrived in

A photo of the outer shipping box and shipping label, and packaging paper/peanuts received

A brief description of the issue, clarifying all damage or missing items
Items must not be opened, used, or disposed of before reporting the issue. Products that have been opened or used prior to notifying us may not be eligible for replacement or refund, as this prevents us from raising a courier claim or conducting a proper quality investigation.
We’re unable to replace or refund items unless sufficient evidence of the damage and original packaging is provided, as this information is required for courier claims and quality checks.
Once received, our team will review the details and advise on the next steps for a replacement or refund in line with our returns policy.
Exchanges
We will exchange or replace items if they are defective or damaged. Non-returnable items cannot be exchanged due to health and hygiene reasons. If you want to exchange and item, send us an email at contact@truthpaste.co.uk .
Refunds
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your refund. Refunds are only given for items that are damaged or faulty upon receipt. If approved, your refund will be processed. Please allow up to 5 days for refunds to show on your bank statement.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Refund Policy for Failed Deliveries
We understand how frustrating it can be when a delivery doesn’t arrive as expected. We aim to support all claims and work with Royal Mail to investigate missing parcels. To be eligible for a refund due to failed delivery, at least one of the following conditions must be met:
1. Proof of Delivery Must Be Invalid
We can only issue a refund if the delivery confirmation shows one or more of the following:

No GPS data or delivery photo is available

GPS coordinates do not match your address

Delivery photo shows a different property or incorrect address

The parcel was left in an insecure or inappropriate location (e.g., public bin, communal area without permission)

There is clear evidence of tampering or theft after delivery
2. You Must Report the Issue Promptly
Claims must be submitted within 7 days of the delivery date shown by the courier. Delays in reporting may limit our ability to investigate or claim compensation from the courier.
3. You May Be Asked to Provide Supporting Evidence
To assist our investigation with Royal Mail, you may be asked to provide:

A photo of your front door or delivery area

Confirmation of the colour of your door or identifying features

A written statement confirming non-receipt
4. Royal Mail Investigation Process
If Royal Mail confirms the parcel as lost, misdelivered, or stolen, we will issue a full refund or replacement. If they confirm successful delivery to the correct location and there is no clear evidence to the contrary, we are unable to issue a refund.
5. Returned Orders
If a missing order is later returned to us due to non-collection or incorrect address details provided at checkout, we can either:

Re-send the order (additional shipping charges may apply), or

Refund the product cost (excluding shipping) if items are unopened and eligible under our Returns Policy.
