Our current ranges; Original, Charcoal and Kids, do not contain fluoride. 

We are very excited to be bringing our customers a fluoride range in the near future. This will be available as a Kids range as well.

We feel strongly that there should be a choice of both fluoride and a non-fluoride product and look forward to providing that option. Read our blog post to learn more.

Unlike regular toothpaste, we don’t use unsustainable or synthetic ingredients. This means we always avoid:

- Palm oil

- EDCs

- Triclosan

- Sodium Lauryl Sulfate / Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS/SLES)

- Artificial colourants

- Titanium Dioxide

- Propylene Glycol 

- Sulfates

- Parabens

Yes all of our ingredients are vegan

We always use organic ingredients wherever possible, however we have not yet gone through any certification processes.

The safest and most hygienic way is to use one of our reusable stainless steel spatulas.

If you have your own jar and prefer to dip your brush into the pot, we recommend not to wet your brush first. This is to prevent water getting into your Truthpaste and keep it fresher for longer.

A 100ml jar of Truthpaste will typically last for 3 months with one person brushing twice a day - that works out at £3.33 a month!

Yes! We have a Jar Return Scheme available for UK customers only. Collect 3 empty Truthpaste jars and send them back to us in return for Refill Rewards.

Whilst Truthpaste was not specifically formulated to help sensitivity, it is safe to use for those with sensitive teeth.

Some of our customers report a decrease in sensitivity when using Truthpaste. Check out our Consumer Research Report for more information.

Truthpaste Original was not developed specifically as a whitening toothpaste. However, many of our customers do mention that their teeth appear whiter after brushing. 

Our Charcoal range works to gently lift stains from teeth using activated charcoal from organic coconut husks.

We have developed Truthpaste Children's range with little teeth in mind.

Truthpaste Kids is made with a soothing coconut and calendula base and a mild blend of essential oils which help keep little teeth and gums healthy.

Truthpaste Kids flavours are much more mellow than our other ranges and suitable for the whole family to use. 

Truthpaste Kids is suitable for babies who are just getting their teeth to grown-ups that simply love the taste!

Some essential oils used in Truthpaste Original and Truthpaste Charcoal are not suitable and are too strong for children under 7 years of age. We recommend that you keep these products out of reach for small people.

Yes! Our kids formula is suitable for little kids and big kids alike. Some prefer the milder taste and coconut base of the kids, you can always order a travel size to try out before committing to a big pot.

Whilst some of the essential oils used in Truthpaste can be harmful if taken in excess during pregnancy, the levels of concentration do not pose any serious risk.

However, we advise caution and consultation with your doctor or pharmacist before using Truthpaste if pregnant or breastfeeding, or to use Truthpaste Mild Mint.

No! We use Xylitol which is very toxic for dogs, as well as a number of essential oils.

Please do not use Truthpaste on your pets as the ingredients are very harmful to them.

If you are looking for a natural solution for your pet's teeth make sure to only use products specifically approved for them.

The Truthpaste team work within a nut, gluten, and dairy-free environment. We request that all of our suppliers do likewise. Whilst we work to ensure that none of our products come into contact with allergens, it is not possible to ensure that this does not occur in transit. 

Truthpaste is free from gluten, although we can't say with 100% certainty that every ingredient used has not come into contact with gluten during transit.

If you have a severe allergy then please consult your doctor before using Truthpaste.

All of our postage packaging, from the boxes to the paper in which we wrap your delivery in, is made from recycled paper (and sometimes reused from suppliers!).

We always try to dispatch your order within one working day of receiving it.

The delivery service will depend on your choice at the checkout.

As well as creating a plastic-free and zero-waste product, the Truthpaste team operates in a zero-waste and zero-to-landfill environment.

Orders are sent out in either cardboard boxes or paper filled Jiffy Bags to avoid the use of plastic.

Everything is reusable and recyclable, from the product to the very paper it's wrapped in. 

We continue to thoroughly research means of delivery to make sure that emissions are kept to a minimum.

Orders to the EU are sent via Royal Mail Tracked and are priced according to weight, starting from £13.45. Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery.

PLEASE NOTE: Orders to EU countries are liable for VAT at your local rate. You will not be charged VAT on the sale but will be charged at the point of entry to the EU.
