Neem Oil
Latin name: Azadirachta Indica
As well as supporting dental health in truthpaste Original, neem oil has been used for centuries around the world for many uses. Also known as the nim tree, the rather romantic sounding Indian Lilac. Our personal favourite is the KiSwahili name mwarobaini meaning ‘of forty’ due to the common East African belief it can cure 40 diseases.
Where is neem from?
Typically found in tropical regions, the Neem Tree is native to India, although can be found in many parts of Africa and the Middle East. Part of the mahogany family, the Neem tree is known for growing very quickly in the right conditions. Our neem seed essential oil is from India, just in case you were wondering!

Absolutely love this product! Amazing taste & mouth feels really clean….no fluoride too
Have had gum disease for years, and now periodontal disease, have tried everything my dentist could recommend, nothing improved it, constant pain, ultra sensitive, tooth loss, even going outside in winter on a cold day was painful.
Tried Truthpaste as a last attempt before I lost even more teeth, to say I'm impressed is a understatement, my teeth and gums feel stronger, my teeth no longer wobble if I touch them, and my gums are pain free, pink and no longer red & inflamed. I brush twice a day with the Peppermint paste, and rinse with the strong mouthwash after lunch.. no more costly than 2 tubes of expensive shop bought chemical and fluoride filled paste.. and my breath always smells great now, and mouth feels clean all the time. Excellent product.
I really enjoy using this product and when I have to go back to conventional toothpaste in an emergency, I notice my teeth and mouth are not as clean or fresh
The wintergreen toothpaste, is my favourite. My teeth are looking alot whiter. Also it freshens your breath, and it lasts, a while.
Love the Peppermint toothpaste - I use it at bedtime with the Enamel Repair Mask & use the Peppermint/Wintergreen during the day x
I got a sample of this and thought long and hard before I even tried it . Orange… no … however … I have now stocked up on it . It is incredibly zesty and fresh. I wasn’t expecting to like it let alone love it this much .
This toothpaste whilst being environmentally friendly actually cleans your teeth, it isn’t foamy as such, but does spread around your mouth enough to get into all areas. Love the fact that the pot is recyclable too.
I’ve been using this product for over a year now and love it. I wouldn’t use anything else.
Suffice it to say that the last time I visited the dentist, he told me to carry on with how I clean my teeth because there was nothing for the hygienist to do! This can only be because of the lovely fennel toothpaste that I have been using for a few years now.
Have been using my mums pot of Truthpaste since she got it a while ago (she loves it) and I’ve been waiting for my regular brand tube to finish (because we don’t do waste 🙂↔️) and I just really enjoy using it. My teeth feel cleaner and stronger, and the 2 sensitive spots are less sensitive. I got the pack with the enamel repair powder, floss and mouthwash. The repair powder is fab - I enjoy using it, but it’s only been a week or so. I am using it regularly so we’ll see how it goes. The floss is good though possibly too thick. Only just tried the mouthwash, but the flavour is good and we’ll see how it works over time.
Finally got round to use this, works wonders - consistent use is key.
